EatRight Ontario''s Ask a Dietitian service allows you to direct non-emergency health inquiries regarding nutrition topics to a registered dietitian.


EatRight Ontario’s Ask a Dietitian service only provides general nutritional health information, and should be used for informational purposes only. The Ask a Dietitian service does not provide any medical diagnoses, symptom assessments, health counseling or medical opinions for individual users.

Do not rely on and / or the EatRight Ontario /Ask a Dietitian service for medical advice. If you are feeling ill right now, immediately phone TeleHealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000 or 911, or visit your doctor or closest hospital. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of information that you have received through the Ask a Dietitian service.


This information is provided as a public service. Although we endeavour to ensure that the information is as current and accurate as possible, errors do occasionally occur. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information.


The Ask a Dietitian service is for residents of Ontario, Canada only. If you reside outside the Province, we cannot respond to your request.

In the event of a dispute relating to your use of the EatRight Ontario /Ask a Dietitian service, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Ontario courts and to waive any objections based upon venue.
